Letter from 1st Va Infantry of Arizona
Genl. Jennette
Col. Smith
On behalf of the 1st Virginia Infantry of Arizona ("The Arizona Gunslingers") I would like to thank you all for the invitation to join you in chasing the yankee invader from the damp yet sacred soil of the Old Dominion. ;o) We had a splendid time, enjoyed stepping up for the school groups, and of course the Saturday battle was quite memorable. Once we have a photo gallery up on our website we will gladly send you a link.
Your offer to make us honorary members of the 2nd Battalion is very touching and much appreciated. We look forward to receiving the paperwork and showing it around to everyone. It shall be something like a battle honor.
Our address is
We Make History
P.O. Box 12874

Thank you!
We have only just returned yesterday from our three week stay in Virginia. Beyond the battle we had the opportunity to do a good deal of touring and also some speaking and living history in support of historic sites. It has been a grand adventure and we miss Virginia already. This Sunday we will be holding a dinner meeting to share fond memories and photos with one another. It will be a time of many smiles and laughter as well ... but with a bit of wistful longing to visit the Old Dominion again. Please do stay in touch and keep us informed of upcoming events as we very much look forward to joining you again in the future. I remain your servantin the great cause of bringing history to life.
